Thou Shalt Not Kill

Sackhoff, is of course, just joking when she says, "kill him". What she means is pound the crap out of him like she did in the Season 3 episode "Unfinished Business". In fact, the young woman who made her debut as a 17-year old in the lifetime TV Special Fifteen and Pregnant, admits she is a religious person - hence the cross tattoo she bears on her left shoulder blade. At least, she used to have on her left shoulder blade.

"What's interesting about Battlestar is that you never really know what religion they are talking about. There are aspects of Mormonism, there is Christianity, there's Greek mythology. There are so many different aspects of religion, so you really never know. They have done that very, very smartly", says Sackhoff.

"And my tattoos are interesting as I get older. I always said when I got them that I would never regret them, and I don't regret getting them. They show a side of me; a part of my life. I love them but I am actually removing two of them right now. As I grow older, I have realized that there is something very, very beautiful and simplistic about the female back and I don't have that and it is something that I want now. So I am now removing two of my tattoos. I am keeping one".

Smells Like Geek Spirit

As fanboys and fangirls flock to see Sackhoff at conventions and guest appearances, the former competitive swimmer loves the outdoors - whether it be fishing or riding her motorbike with her boyfriend - unless of course, she is indoors enjoying a brown-eyed ballad by Van the Man.

"I love going to concerts. I just saw Chris Cornell and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen in my entire life. It was absolutely phenomenal. And then, we just saw the lead singer from Staind, Aaron Lewis, do an acoustic session at the Wiltshire in L.A. It was absolutely amazing", explained Sackhoff, who flies (in a passenger plane) back and forth from Vancouver to L.A. to strenghten her relationship with her boyfriend.

"I've seen Faith Hill and Tim McGraw twice and The Who, Peter Frampton. We went to Jazz Fest because my boyfriend is from New Orleans and I, literally, after I saw the people there, love jazz. I love Brad Paisley. Oh, and Van Morrison. I am so in love with Van Morrison. After I saw him in concert, I said, 'I can die now'. I am obsessed with Van Morrison in a very, very weird scary way. I actually looked to see if he was playing again and he was only playing in Toronto and I was like, 'Shit. I can't make that'. I am obsessed with him".

And while geeks are obsessed with her, Sackhoff would love walking a few miles in boots belonging to a couple of stars bigger than Dirk Benedict. "I would kill to play Wonder Woman".

Again with the killing?

"I would. I really would. I would love to fill the red boots", laughs Sackhoff. " I would dye my hair brown. You have got to keep her the same. It's something that I would love to do. I don't see myself getting an opportunity to read for it. But it would be nice for that to happen. I am reading a lot of scripts. Battlestar gave me credibility as an actor but Bionic Woman is giving me a little bit more mainstream credibility, in terms of the roles people are considering me for now. It's opened a lot of doors for me being in Bionic Woman, which I didn't think it was going to happen. It's kind of nice".

And while she is gaining even wider appeal with the pre season buzz surrounding Bionic Woman, there is one script Sackhoff would have given up an appendage for had she been given a chance. "I would have given my left arm to be in the new Indiana Jones. I really wanted to call Steven Spielberg and say, 'I just want to be a rock. Seriously, I will just be a rock that Shia Leboeuf shits on or something. Put me in the movie, please', laughs Sackhoff.

Some threat from a fembot. With the advancements in technology today, Sackhoff would likely just spend six million bucks on a new arm that works better anyways.

Well, at least she's not a Cylon.
